If you are travelling with another person it is important to have the ability to contact one another at any time especially in an emergency. We highly advise that you both purchase a sim so you can keep in touch.

Coverage: USA, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Alaska.

Please note when searching the coverage in Canada, only refer to the colour 'orange' on the Canada map. Where ever it's showing the color orange on the map in Canada, it means there is coverage there but the text that comes up will note 'No Coverage'. This is because the actual carrier of the sim AT&T doesn't have a their own network in Canada and that their network partner in Canada is Rogers so they can't provide specific details regarding a different companies network. The colour 'orange' is shown in the legend/key of the map as "off-network" coverage, meaning it's not their own coverage/network but it's on another network.

This does not apply for USA and Mexico since AT&T have their own networks in those two countries so searching coverage for cities and towns in USA and Mexico will be more clear.

  • Unlimited Data.

Please note AT&T does advise that they have a de-priortisation limit of 22GB. This basically means that any time there is network congestion in a particular area due to an overload of their customers using the 4G data network and you have already gone over the 22GB, then your 4G data speeds may be de-priortised and dropped to the next data speed available in the area such as 3.5G and 3G. The carrier does this to free up the 4G data network congestion for their customers and to not effect their other customers who haven't used much data instead of it effecting all their customers.

  • Unlimited Calls and SMS to USA , Canadian and Mexican Mobiles and Standard Landline number

The unlimited calls that come with the sim can only be used to call standard US, Canadian and Mexican landlines and mobiles.

When calling Canadian or Mexican numbers, you must ensure you use their respective country codes dialling. For Canada it's +1 and for Mexico it's +52. Even if in Canada or Mexico you must use their country codes to call a local number. If calling a US number from Canada or Mexico, then you must ensure you put the US country code when dialling which is also +1. However, if in the US and trying to call a US number, then no country code is required in this instance.

The unlimited local SMS/texts that come with the sim can be used to text US, Canadian and Mexican mobiles. The same process still applies for texting in terms of using the country codes as noted above. .

The unlimited international texts can be used to text over 100 countries from the USA, Canada and/or Mexico. You can find the list here.

Please ensure you dial the country code for the country you are trying to text. For example, Australia is +61 so please ensure you dial +61 followed by the mobile number without the leading zero when texting.

To get the plus (+) symbol you just hold down the zero key on your phone when dialling.

This sim does not come with international calling for other countries. We recommend that you use data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, etc to make international phone calls. You are also able to add credit to your Viber or Skype account, which will allow you to make local and international phone calls directly to landlines and mobiles at the apps rates.

The plan will last 30 days from the activation date provided. If you are staying longer than 30 days and wish to recharge the sim you can do this by either going into an AT&T store or calling AT&T customer service on 611 from your mobile handset. To recharge this same plan for another 30 days in the US with AT&T, will cost $65USD + Tax. If you have purchased the hotspot/tethering add-on then it will cost $75USD + Tax to recharge the plan. If you don't need the same plan for the following month or only need a few more days of service, then just let AT&T know and they will provide you some prepaid plan options to change to.

Alternatively, you can look to purchase multiple sims to cover your duration if travelling for more than 30 days. For example, if you are travelling for 56 days and are departing on the 1st of September, then you should select '2' for the quantity (qty) and add them to the cart. Then in the cart page enter the activation date for the first sim as 1st September and then press the "+" to enter the activation date for second sim as 30th September (you can select whatever activation date you like or even have them overlap, just keep in mind that your 30 days will begin from that date). You can then use the two sims for 30 days from the dates you have provided.  (Please note: each sim card will have a different phone number).

As long as you are aware your 30 days will begin from the activation date you provide for each sim, it's up to you what date you provide ensuring it covers you for your duration. It's fine to have services overlap.

You will receive a 3-in-1 sim card; which includes all sizes (Standard, Micro and Nano). This sim card will fit in any phone. You simply need to just pop out the sim card size that fits your phone.

This AT&T Prepaid sim card will be active from the activation date you provided at the time of purchase and will be when your 30 days begins. This is the date that you can start using your services when you're at the covered destination.

Should you wish to change this date after your purchase, please contact us at least 3 days prior to your noted activation date, so we can change the commencement date of your 30 day service. You can email us at support@simcorner.com to do this. However, we cannot change the actual time of when the activation occurs, only the date.

You will need to turn ON the DATA ROAMING function in your mobile phone before you can use the data in Canada and/or Mexico.

Your local USA phone number is only generated once the sim card is activated (based on the activation date that you note at the time of purchase). You 30 days of service will commence from this date. Upon arriving in either the USA, Canada or Mexico and after inserting the sim card in your mobile phone, you can go into your phone settings menu to view your USA phone number.

Can I get my phone number earlier?

When a sim is activated we are able to retrieve the phone number from the system. As an option, if you are travelling for less than 30 days you can look at providing an earlier activation date when purchasing the sim card, bearing in mind that your 30 days of service will still begin from that date. You can then e-mail us on the activation date you provided requesting your phone number which we can then forward to you.

To check your data balance/allowance you simply need to dial *777# then press Call (star, seven, seven, seven, hash then press Call).

You will receive a 3-in-1 sim card; which includes all sizes (Standard, Micro and Nano). This sim card will fit in any phone. You simply need to just pop out the sim card size that fits your phone.

If you purchase the hotspot/tethering option for $10 then you will have up to 10GB hotspotting for use in USA only. No hotspotting in Canada or Mexico.

Please note when searching the coverage in Canada, only refer to the colour 'orange' on the Canada map. You simply need to have both MOBILE DATA and DATA ROAMING functions ENABLED/TURNED ON in your phone to use the service. The sim card will be active from the activation date you have provided. It is on this date that your 30 days of service will automatically commence.

The mobile data APN settings should automatically update when you insert the sim card in you phone. If it does not, you need to update the settings so it states the following;

APN Name: ATT phone

APN: phone

None of the other mobile data APN fields, need to be changed or adjusted, only the above.

Details about APN settings and other important information will be noted on the instruction sheet that will come accompanied with the sim card.

The sim card will connect to the ATT network in USA (including Alaska and Hawaii) and Mexico. Whilst in Canada, the sim card will connect to Rogers.

The features on the sim card are valid for 30 days of service from activation.

Sim Card Size

If you purchase the hotspot/tethering option for $10 then you will have up to 10GB hotspotting for use in USA only. No hotspotting in Canada or Mexico.

If you do not purchase this option, then you will be unable to hotspot/tether from your phone at all.

You simply need to have both MOBILE DATA and DATA ROAMING functions ENABLED/TURNED ON in your phone to use the service. The sim card will be active from the activation date you have provided. It is on this date that your 30 days of service will automatically commence.

The mobile data APN settings should automatically update when you insert the sim card in you phone. If it does not, you need to update the settings so it states the following;
