This Dubai (UAE) Data SIM Card is a Data-ONLY sim hence it doesn't come with a phone number. The sim does not allow you to make direct calls or send direct SMS. However, you are still able to make calls and send messages via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Snapchat, Messenger, Skype, iMessage etc.

However, you are also able to add credit to your Viber or Skype account, which will allow you to make local and international phone calls directly to landlines and mobiles.

To check your data balance/allowance you simply need to dial *111*6# then press Call (star, one, one, one, star, six, hash then press Call).

If you receive any text messages noting that you have zero credit balance then you can ignore as it does not relate to your data balance.

You will receive a 3-in-1 sim card; which includes all sizes (Standard, Micro and Nano). This sim card will fit in any phone. You simply need to just pop out the sim card size that fits your phone.

This sim card can work in Dubai in the following cities:

You simply need to have MOBILE DATA functions ENABLED/TURNED ON in your phone to use the service. The sim card will be active from the activation date you have provided. It is on this date that your 30 days of service will automatically commence.

The mobile data APN settings should automatically update when you insert the sim card in you phone. If it does not, you need to update the settings so it states the following;

The features on the sim card are valid for 15 days of service from activation. 

If you are travelling for longer than 15 days, please purchase multiple sims accordingly. For example, if you are travelling for 20 days then purchase 2 of these sims and swap them over at the end of the 15 day period.

As this sim card cannot be recharged, if you feel you need more than 6GB of data then please purchase multiple sims accordingly. For example, if you need 18GB of data then please purchase 3 of these sim cards bearing in mind that each time you activate one sim you will have 15 days to use the 6GB of data.

If you are travelling for longer than 15 days, please purchase multiple sims accordingly. For example, if you are travelling for 25 days then purchase 2 of these sims and swap them over at the end of the 15 day period.
